Meet Gu, a brightly colored Koi fish who happens to call a flooded valley in ancient China his home! When the dragon who guards his valley vanishes from the skies Gu summons the courage to ask the beautiful Phoenix for help. She reveals that without a dragon, the valley could run dry!

So begins the adventure of a thousand lifetimes for one small fish as he embarks on an epic journey across China in search of the only thing that can save his home and his friends, the legendary Dragon Gate!
